Terms of use

These working terms apply while Food4Thought is developed and launched in Australia. Prices are displayed in United States dollars (USD). They are not legal advice and will be reviewed before public launch.

The service

Food4Thought provides a hospitality jobs marketplace, business directory, and later competitions, events and video programmes. One account, one profile and one SSB Credits wallet is intended across the ecosystem.

Jobs

  • Candidates may search without an account. Applying requires an account and a right-to-work declaration.
  • Employers must post accurate vacancies, avoid discriminatory criteria, and not advertise unpaid trials or cash-in-hand wages as a substitute for lawful pay.
  • Food4Thought is not the employer. Employment contracts, visas and workplace law remain between the parties.
  • Listings may be paused or removed after automated checks or human moderation.

Regions, language and display currency

Australia is the first operating region. City hubs group local jobs, venues and events. The site can show amounts in other currencies for convenience; every charge remains USD. Extra languages are a preview until translations are complete.

Sponsorship

Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and exclusive category packages are 30-day placements. Exclusive category sponsorship reserves a job vertical. Sponsored modules are labelled.

Events and students

Event registrations may be free or paid. Capacity can produce a waiting list. College and school events may require participation, filming and, where under-18s take part, guardian consent. Food4Thought is not the education provider; colleges remain responsible for student welfare and consent records.

Competitions

Best Of nominations are a paid venue product. Public voting is limited to one vote per member. Results are unofficial until they are locked and published on the winner page. Buying votes or offering cash incentives for votes is not allowed.

Payments

Live payments will use Stripe (USD) and SSB Credits. Local development can publish listings without payment. Credits are not wages and cannot be used to pay staff.

Accounts

You must keep login details confidential and tell us if you believe an account is misused. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or community standards.
